TUGTOG | To Play Music

What began as a pair of musicians at the HKCS debut concert in 2024 flourished into a multi-member instrumental ensemble aptly named TUGTOG (“to play music”). Making its official debut at HKCS’ Valentine’s Concert in February of 2025, TUGTOG highlights the excellence of Filipino musicianship. TUGTOG draws inspiration from iconic bands like VST & Co., APO Hiking Society, Itchyworms, IV of Spades, and many more groups who give a unique Filipino spin on the universal genres of jazz, rock, R&B, and pop.
